On someone's profile where it says referrals, What are those and how does someone get them?

Im asking because I just noticed that I have one and i was wtf what are those:confused: :eek:

The administrator may have enabled referrals, which allows you to be credited for any new users you invite to the forum.

You gain referrals by promoting ArcadeVB - Free Online Games, Multiplayer Games and more... using your unique referral link. The link you should use as your referral link is this:

"http://www.arcadevb.com/index.php?referrerid=xxx"

replace xxx with your member ID - your is the 816

Each time someone follows this link to ArcadeVB - Free Online Games, Multiplayer Games and more... and registers as a new member, your referral count will be incremented by one. The number of referrals you have can be viewed in your profile.
