Hi to everybody - how is it hanging
Have we got any football ( soccer ) fans out there.
Been watching so many games in my local pub that i am going to buy shares for the amount of pints i am drinking.
Well .....for the big question who are you supporting and who do you think will win the World Cup.
Come on England but i got a feeling Spain is going to win.
Let me her your views

hey Dmac, England was very good, but they lost that game in consequence of Wayne Rooney's red card. (He stamped the Portuguese defender Ricardo Carvalho in the groin.)

I guess that you saw many games and you agree with me, when i say, that the german team is playing very attractive as never before.

If the Italians are better in the semifinal, i haven't any problem with that. But some italian journalists are snitch-worldchamps just yet...

After all the bad press Germany were getting i agree that they are playing attractive and attacking football, you have got to give great credit to Klinsmann ( of which i understand was ready to step down as manager if Germany had a bad world cup ) who picked the players, who may i say was a top striker in his day.

Would like to see Portugual win so at least i can say we were beaten by the World Cup Winners 2006.:D

I follow the headlines in the news about the games but went without cable for a number of years so haven't ever gotten into it. More of a football and basketball fan, with a little baseball thrown in. Good luck to Germany. :D

I think France cheated on that game! There wasnt any foul,
but still ref gave them Penalty Kick. That was in Italy and Usa game ref.

Yea, that's what happened to Australia too against Italy. But in Australia's case, there was no foul (more a dive) and Italy got a penalty in the dying seconds of the game that put them in the finals... still sour about that one, I am.

Not one of the best games i saw....still say watching Germany play Italy was the final for me, Well Italy v France, France have not played the best football in my eyes this World Cup so my money is on Italy.......2-1:cool:

That wasn't a good match from the italian team, but Zidane lost his temper and France the final.


Third is Germany after a inflammatory match against Portugal - 3:1.

I had no luck of the draw. There was too many demands for the tickets, especially for interesting matches. The stadium utilization reached nearly 100 percent. So i viewed the great worldcup matches with friends.
