I think you get 10,000 for placing first in a game....costs 50 points per game to play. I'll donate some points to get you started.

Is it strange that I am playing here over a week now and I did not noticed anything about points? :) Now I see something like "Points: Bank: Total Points:"...
Can you explain what does it mean? or point me to some descriptions?

You build up points by posting in the forums, and placing first in a game(each game costs 50 points to play). If you click the vbplaza link at the top, you'll see different things you can do with your points. Hope that helps.
