Which console does everyone think is going to win this years console war.

From what I've seen of the xbox it's pretty good indeed and I can't wait to see what the PS3 will be like when it launches.

360, microsoft has shown some nice games and still to come are some big ones *cough* halo 3. ps3 has shown nothing but videos and is all sitting on promises right now.

Nintendo lost all credibility with gamecube. No one is looking for them to be big competitors. I'm wishing they would just sell their rights to the few good games they have left (smashbrothers).

I have to disagree. PS3 may be better on paper, but we won't know how it looks plays and appeals to people until it launches. XBOX had its way w/ PS2 when it came to numbers but when you look at MOST of the games, there was little difference. On top of that Sony has been exploding numbers to make it look better (nothing "wrong" but would count certain figures in that the 360 would exclude because of how they are used...I can't remember exactly which, I'll have to look it up). I'm not saying that PS3 won't have the capability to produce better graphics, I'm just doubting how much better and if transconsole games will really exploit that. The second issue is the fact that if they do exploit that, then owners of a PS3 may end up waiting extra months so the game designers can go back and improve to the point of making a character lick his lips to make the game more realistic. My point is this: very few games are going to push the most powerful console to its max. We saw it with XBOX when only Halo 2 really showed its potential and a few more recent games. We also saw GTA take FOREVER to launch on XBOX even after it was approved because they wanted to make slight improvements on the graphics. I do think you nailed it on the head when you said you don't know about the games line up because it's starting to look like Sony is selling the ground out from underneath themselves. I'm a big Final Fantasy fan and I considered that the biggest thing that PS had over XBOX and now FFXI is out on XBOX. I better stop now...this is a long post.

Honestly I don't care which is better.

I'm just going to buy the ps3 when it launches, then sell it for 3 times it's original price on ebay.
