Or noobs, as they are generally known!
If all current players would refer the noobs to the forums, it would be a good way to get them involved in the forums, too.
************************************************** **
Below is general advice, to be used with the help guide in the game.
You attack other players and steal their money (cash). You build up your population (by cloning and cloning upgrades) and that gives you income.
Attacking
you need 1 attack soldier (attack specialist) or mercernary to attack (you cant attack without one). but you dont need a defense soldier or merc to defend.
you buy strike or siege weapons to attack, and fortification or def weaps to def. the upgrades make your weapons or "action" better.
you buy covert operatives to spy on ppl. upgrades also increase action. see upgrades below.
just starting you should try attacking ppl in the last 5 or 10 pages (depending on the number of players). to attack, go to "attack" link and that puts you on the "first" page, where the players leading the game are. then go to the last few pages. click on a "name/player" and then follow the attack links.
Spying
to spy, do the same as attacking, instead of "attack" follow the spy link (same pages). you must have a spy to spy! if you "fail" in spying, their covert action (ca) is more than yours, you will lose the spies you send. only send one spy at a time.
Spying will tell you most of the information of the player, if you are successful.
Alliances[QUOTE]
if you go to "alliances" link above "logout", you will find ally requests. if you confirm them, you will get 2% more income, strike and def action, for each one. get as many allies as you can.
Noobs always worry about the 20% attack bonus. If you get over 10 allies, you will overcome the attack bonus.
10 X 2% = 20%!
Cloning/Population
you increase your pop by upgrading cloning (on training page). you increase your income from citz (more cloning) and more allies. you get your citz, cloning, once a day. you get them on the first turn after you started, then around a day later, from then on.
Upgrades
there is a balance between doing the upgrades or buying more weaps. you "should" only buy the most expensive weaps, once you can afford them. the less expensive ones cost more to repair.
the first few upgrades dont do a lot, but from about 500,000 ones on, they add 50% extra and go up by 5% each time (i think it's 5%, it's been changed).
once you get to where you are getting this much extra action, it's worth doing them.
if you can't afford them, then buy more weaps than you need and sell them down when you save some more. most ppl call this banking. you lose 20%, but it's better than getting it stolen.
for most ppl the upgrades stop at 64 million. some with the bonuses, go to 128 mill. european civilisation goes to 256 mill upgrade on attack
the covert upgrades dont stop. i have done a 156 mill, once! lol
the cloning upgrades don't stop, either.
any more questions, you can send me a private msg in the forum, or ask a current player.
good luck
